A. Coaching Weeks & In-Person Sessions

1. General Terms

1.1 Services Provided

Impact Surf Academy offers surf coaching sessions including in-water coaching, video analysis, and personalised guidance, as described on this website or in direct communication with you.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book a coaching session. Participants under 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

1.3 Booking and Payment

Coaching Weeks are booked through the website or via direct communication and confirmed upon payment. Full payment is required no later than 15 days before the start of the Coaching Week.

1.4 Session Details

Dates, times, locations, and programme content are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, surf conditions, coach availability). We will notify you of any significant changes.

2. Health and Safety

2.1 Physical Fitness and Medical Conditions

You must be in good health and physically able to participate. Disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations before booking. We may request a doctor's note where relevant.

2.2 Insurance

We strongly recommend personal accident or travel insurance covering surfing, accidents, cancellations, and emergencies. Impact Surf Academy does not provide personal insurance coverage.

4. Code of Conduct

4.1 Behaviour

Participants agree to behave respectfully and in line with local laws, regulations, and surf etiquette. Disruptive behaviour affecting the safety or enjoyment of others may result in removal without refund.

4.2 Safety Guidelines

Participants must follow safety guidance from coaches at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal without refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Risk Acknowledgement

Surfing and related activities involve inherent risks, including injury or death. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks. See the separate Liability Agreement for full terms.

5.2 Force Majeure

Impact Surf Academy is not responsible for failure to perform obligations due to causes beyond its control — natural disasters, strikes, government regulations, or similar events.

B. Online Coaching

1. Subscription and Account

1.1 Subscription Plans

Online Coaching is offered as Pay as you go (€15/clip), Monthly (€65/month, 8 clips + 1 call), or Committed (€120/month, unlimited clips + weekly call). Pricing is subject to change with notice.

1.2 Billing

Monthly and Committed plans renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

1.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where a technical issue prevents access to the service, at our discretion.

2. Service Access

2.1 Grant of Access

Upon subscribing, you receive access to submit footage and receive feedback via our coaching platform, for personal, non-commercial use only.

2.2 Content Usage

Coaching content and feedback are for personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use content commercially without written consent.

2.3 Service Availability

We aim for uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee it; the service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or unforeseen issues.

3. Intellectual Property

All coaching content, video analysis formats, and materials remain the intellectual property of Impact Surf Academy.

C. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes will first be addressed through direct contact with Impact Surf Academy; unresolved disputes are subject to mediation or arbitration in Coimbra, Portugal.

D. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or website update. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
